Volunteering
Would you like to volunteer for Ormiston?

Volunteers make an important contribution in supporting and enhancing the services which Ormiston provides to children and their families.

We offer a varied range of volunteering opportunities, which enable people of different ages and backgrounds, to make a genuine contribution to our work. These range from fundraising, telephone helpline work and administrative support to working with children and young people.

Calling All Garden Lovers
In June 2010 Ormiston will be a beneficiary of the 2nd Abbots Ripton Garden Show at Abbots Ripton Hall, home of Ormiston Ambassador, Alison De Ramsey. The show is a must for all garden enthusiasts with everything from competitions, silent auctions, trade stands, antiques road shows and the W.I. Teas and of course not forgetting the stunning gardens.
Ormiston is keen to ensure the success of the event and so we will be responsible for finding volunteers to work on the gates for the duration of the show - from 26th to 27th June. If you would like to help out and can offer perhaps a 2 or 3 hour slot on the Saturday or Sunday in return for free entry to the show and one of the W.I.'s famous teas I would love to hear from you.

If you would like to volunteer please contact Louise Irving on 01473 719296 or email her on .
